Hello, I'm
|
I build the payroll backend for FleetHours NextGen at Platform Science — distributed .NET microservices on MongoDB, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience designing and building scalable backend systems, specializing in microservices architecture with .NET and MongoDB. Currently working on FleetHours NextGen, a payroll engine for the European logistics sector. My core strength lies in backend development — building robust APIs, optimizing databases, and architecting distributed microservices — and I also contribute to the Angular frontend, enabling me to deliver end-to-end features.
I believe in writing clean, maintainable code that not only solves problems efficiently but also scales gracefully. Every solution I build is designed with performance, security, and user experience in mind.

Apr 2025 - Present
Developing the core of the salary calculation engine for FleetHours NextGen, a distributed .NET/MongoDB payroll backend for European road transport — 20 salary rules and the pipeline that executes them in dependency order. Engineered the Calculation Management service with fair-share batching via Quartz and Kafka, a version-pinned regression harness for the engine, and platform work spanning semantic-release versioning, the .NET 10 migration, and 80%+ test coverage across five services.

Jun 2023 - Apr 2025
Built the backend activity data platform behind FleetHours — Activity Import with resumable, watermark-based ingestion scaled to 600K activities per customer, Activity CRUD with a complete audit trail, and Correction APIs — part of 12 microservices built from scratch. Hardened the shared libraries inherited by every service. Started at Trimble's SketchUp division, shipping the SketchUp Diffusion generative-AI extension and contributing to SketchUp Viewer's first Meta Quest release.

Recommendations from professionals I've had the pleasure of working with
" Bhaskar joined as an intern in my team and worked in Mixed reality product. He learned Unity technology, which is completely a new domain, within a short time and was able to contribute on the library toolkit required for one of our products. He is a quick learner and definitely pushed his limits to solve problems. He is capable of adapting to new technologies and understand any coding language whenever required. In short, Bhaskar is an incredible asset to anyone lucky enough to work with him."
" Bhaskar worked as a Software Developer Intern when I joined Trimble and he is an accomplished professional in the MR/AR space. He was the one who showed me the Microsoft HoloLens. With that being said, I am in awe of his development and coding skills. Bhaskar would be an asset to any team he joins, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for a wonderful and successful professional career in the future."
